Dr. Juan Grana , President & Executive Director
Juan has spent his entire career taking care of patients of all ages.
First as a Chiropractor, then doing ergonomic and biomechanical consulting work
for major corporations, hospitals assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
It was there that Juan saw that there had to be a better way than placing loved ones
in a nursing home or assisted living. Thinking about his own parents,
he vowed to find a way to help families stay together.
Juan saw that there were limited choices available for the care of seniors
requiring some degree of assistance and supervision, and felt that Adult Day Care
filled this void in the continuum of care in the United States.
Through an extensive national search, he found SarahCare
to be the premier provider of these services in the country, and purchased a franchise.
Subsequently, SarahCare at Watchung Square officially opened in February 2008.
